LGBTQ+ Activism and Community-Building

I have spent a large amount of time both in and out of the work environment championing equality work. Though focusing my efforts on LGBTQ+ communities, I always try my best to be an ally to members of all the equality strands.

I have been involved in many grassroots organisations, including staff networks, local LGBT groups and charities, and have delivered training in equality and diversity in numerous job roles, notably as a youth worker for LGBT Youth Scotland, and as a Locality Trainer for Victim Support. I also completed the Stonewall Workplace Role Models training in 2014.

For several years, I was an organiser of the Wolverhampton lesbian and bisexual women’s group, and a co-chair and trustee of the Wolverhampton LGBT Network.
